Right mouse button menus
Game list window menus
A pair of popup menus are available for working with game titles and scripts. You can display these by selecting a game name or script name in the games list window and then clicking the right mouse button.
Game title popup menu
- New Game Title permits a new game name to be added. Besides a game name, the dialog for this asks for a path to the game program.
- New Script creates a new (blank) script file for recording
game actions.
- Delete removes the selected game from the game listing. If you remove a game name from the list, the script names under that game also are deleted. Note: The game name is removed from the listing; game program itself is not deleted.
- Properties calls up a dialog box that allows you to change the path to the game program.
Script popup menu
- Open is used for opening existing script files.
- Rename is used for renaming a selected script file. Game names cannot be changed.
- Delete removes a script from the listing in the opening and edit windows. Note: The script's name only is removed from the list; the script file itself is not deleted.
- Make Script Active makes the currently selected script under a game the active script. A check-mark will appear next to the script name in the games list. If the game had been made inactive using Make Game Inactive (all scripts are disabled), the game also is automatically made active.
Game action list menu
A popup menu allows game action editing and deletion directly in the game action list.. You can display the menu by right-clicking on any game action in the game action list. Remember that left-clicking on a listed game action assigns that action to the current button.
- Edit allows you to change the selected action's description and keystrokes (it's similar to doing the same job in the edit screen).
- Delete removes the selected game action from the listing. The button originally associated with the game action is assigned its default behavior.
